Brisbane painters Kate Quinn and Emily Day, and sensational guest artists Eliza Koch and Pia Kuykhoven, are hosting a divine art experience in SA in September 2024. You will enjoy a very special day of art, flowers, food, and wine, at the beautiful homewares and workshop space, Nola's Workshop, in the heart of wine country. After class, we will visit a stunning local winery, Coriole, for a wine tasting, cheese platter and 15% discount on wine purchases to take home! (Optional add on, $40) Running on either Saturday the 7th or Sunday the 8th September, from 9am-5pm, you will learn how to paint a simple floral still life in a small group, in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Suitable for beginners, as well as those with some hobby painting experience, you will spend a day learning new artistic skills.. To start the day, we will gather in the gorgeous workshop space of the store to commence our painting. At lunchtime we will put the brushes down and share a delicious catered lunch with local wine. After class, you can choose to opt in to our winery visit at one of SA's prettiest wineries. Emily and Kate will spread the small class of maximum 16 students into 'acrylics' and 'oils' painting groups, and will provide creative guidance in a non-judgemental, kind and supportive way. If you book with friends we will make sure you are seated together, and if you are coming on your own (many people do), we will ensure you are seated next to a friendly group and get extra special care! Our guest artists will float between both groups, ensuring everyone gets to learn from their in-depth skills and knowledge on creating a beautiful floral still life. Emily and Kate look forward to welcoming you to a unique day in wine country. This Bloom Art Experience costs $540 per person for a full day, and includes all materials, morning tea, lunch, drinks during and after class, as well as a goody bag to take home. $40 extra fee for wine tasting. A note about cancellations: Classes are fully refundable upon request up to 30 days prior to the date you have booked. This allows us to offer your place to another customer. Classes cancelled in the 30 days leading up to the event are not refundable, unless we are able to fill your spot with someone on a waiting list - and in this case we are more than happy to refund you. If in the unlikely event the class needs to be cancelled due to host/artist illness or other unexpected event, we will fully refund participants.

Cancellation Policy

Classes are fully refundable up to 14 days prior to the date you have booked. Classes cancelled in the 14 days leading up to the event are not refundable, unless we are able to fill your spot with someone on the waiting list - in this case we are more than happy to refund you. In the unlikely event the class needs to be cancelled completely due to staff illness/emergency, we will fully refund students affected by the cancellation.
