Brisbane artists Kate Quinn and Emily Day, with special guest, the talented Orange painter Sophie Corks, are hosting a divine art experience in Orange, NSW in October 2026. You will enjoy a very special day of art, flowers, and food, as we soak in the lush atmosphere of Macquariedale Organic Wines, a gorgeous vineyard and cellar door nestled into Mt Canobolas, with views overlooking the beautiful Towac valley below. Running on either Saturday the 24th or Sunday the 25th October, from 9am-5pm, you will learn how to paint a 30x30cm floral still life in a small group, in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Suitable for beginners, as well as those with some hobby painting experience, you will spend a day learning new artistic skills while chatting and laughing with new or old friends. On Friday the 23rd, we would love to welcome any Bloom students to join us at Corner Store Gallery in Orange, for the opening night of a new exhibition by Pia Kuykhoven. This will be an optional fun event that will get us in the creative mood for painting over the weekend. Emily, Kate and Sophie will spread the small class of maximum 16 students into 'acrylics' and 'oils' painting groups, and will provide creative guidance in a non-judgemental, kind and supportive way. If you book with friends we will make sure you are seated together, and if you are coming on your own (many people do), we will ensure you are seated next to a friendly group and get extra special care! We look forward to welcoming you to a unique day at this amazing vineyard. This Bloom Art Experience costs $560 per person for a full day, and includes all materials, morning tea, lunch, drinks during class, as well as a goody bag to take home. A note about cancellations: Classes are fully refundable upon request up to 30 days prior to the date you have booked. This allows us to offer your place to another customer. Classes cancelled in the 30 days leading up to the event are not refundable, unless we are able to fill your spot with someone on a waiting list - and in this case we are more than happy to refund you. If in the unlikely event the class needs to be cancelled due to host/artist illness or other unexpected event, we will fully refund participants.
